Mr Swinn operates on people from all over Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. The close proximity to London Gatwick Airport makes the Vasectomy Clinic at Spire Gatwick Park ideally placed for patients flying in from abroad. The hospital is just a 5 minute taxi ride from either of Lonodn Gatwick Airport's two terminals.
Patients from abroad usually do not have a face-to-face consultation prior to the operation for practical reasons. However, Mr Swinn offers a free telephone consultation to all patients beforehand.
To arrange a telephone consultation with Mr Swinn please call his secretary, Lesley, on (01737) 238356.
Most patients fly in to the UK the day/evening before the procedure and stay locally in one of the numerous hotels close to the hospital. There is an abundance of hotels in the areas and two are within a few minutes walk from the hospital.

Partners are very welcome to come with you on the day of your procedure and sit with you whilst you are in your room. However, the hospital has no facilities for partners/relatives to stay overnight. However, there are several hotels within 5 minutes walk of the hospital.
Mr Swinn is happy for patients to fly home the day after the procedure as long as the flight is short haul and that patients are medically fit and well. Mr Swinn advises that patients who need to take a long haul flight should spend a few days recovering in the UK before flying home.
Flying close to the date of surgery can be associated with a slight increased risk of complications such as haematoma and deep vein thrombosis.
